Last year we had some of our sickest animals come in to the rescue and the cost of vets bills went through the roof. We were really struggling and on the brink of having to close our doors, when Pets at home came to the rescue donating a whopper £2000, shockingly that did not cover the whole of the vets bill, but it made a huge difference and enabled us to keep going and keep helping animals in need.
They not only help with funds, but are constantly providing us with food for the animals and they also help with the re-homing by displaying our posters in all their stores, they even put up posters for our small animals and let us bring small animals for adoption to our in store charity days, which is in direct conflict with what they sell themselves, but the staff are always happy to prioritise animals in need.
