Trevor 8 years – Trevor was a cat that came to me through the vets I work at only a couple of months ago. The owners called up and sent pictures showing a horrific wound covering the whole side of his face, they however were unable to get to the vets so we gave them the best advice and treatment possible over the phone and advised him to be brought in ASAP. We had several reports of this same cat that people were going to report to the RSPCA as he was still roaming and the wound was untreated. A month later the owner finally brought him in saying she couldn’t afford to treat him, by this point the wound was severely infected. I agreed to have him signed over to me to keep and treat, rather than the other option of putting him to sleep. He is now doing considerably better and although his face will always be scarred it is healed fully.
