Dash has found a lovely new home in Highclere
Dash is a 9 year old tri-coloured Collie cross, neutered male.
Dash came in to the rescue as sadly his mum has gone back to full time work and no longer has the time for him and he was starting to show signs of being distressed from being left for long periods on his own.
Dash is a fantastic family dog: he is fab with children, great with cats and completely ignores ponies and cattle on the forest. The only thing he seems to like to chase is squirrels!!
Dash is generally great with other dogs, however he has the typical collie tendency to lift his lip at other dogs when he is having a cuddle with you as he does not like to share cuddle times! We have really been strict on this with him and in one day he was sharing a cuddle happily on the sofa, so it’s definitely something that can be worked on!
Dash would very much suit a home with another laid back dog as he loves to play and he loves to snuggle up on the dog bed with the others.
Dash is good on and off the lead, he travels well in the car and is good to be left with another dog for 3 hours and on his own an hour. Dash would suit an active home as he loves his walks, he is an intelligent boy who just wants to please his owner.
