Lottie – When she arrived to the rescue!
Lottie was found straying with a collar and chain attached. The dog warden had been monitoring a camp of travellers for some while who had been breeding dogs and he is positive she was one of there’s and it also coincided with them leaving town!
The poor little might had clearly had multiple litters of puppies, had an embedded chain/collar in her neck that had to be surgically removed, demodex mange, claws that were so long that some were embedded in to her pads on her back feet and significantly under weight.
The sad thing is, all of these could of been completely avoided with good quality care!
The vets kindly removed the embedded collar and we gave her Bravecto flea and tick treatment which also covers Demodex. The rest of her recover came from your lifelines!! Below are a list of the items your lifelines purchased at Pets At Home for Lottie!
