🐹 Meet Cupcake – Our Charming Gentleman Looking for a Loving Home

Cupcake came into the rescue in 2023 with his brother, Felix. Their previous owner was lovely and had cared for them wonderfully, but sadly, a member of the household developed a severe allergy, and the doctor advised that the guinea pigs be rehomed.

Both boys were put up for adoption straight away, but despite their sweet nature, we sadly had no interest. Heartbreakingly, Felix passed away in December 2024. Thankfully, Cupcake had other herd mates here at the rescue to keep him company and help him adjust to life without his brother.

Cupcake was born on 22nd March 2020, making him 5 years and 6 months old at the time of this post. He’s a neutered male crossbreed guinea pig, and despite being a mature gentleman, he’s in excellent health.

Cupcake is a real favourite here at the rescue — a laid-back, friendly little guy who makes everyone feel welcome and always steers clear of any scuffles. He’s currently living outdoors but would happily adapt to life indoors too. Cupcake has even been known to lend a helping paw, keeping other guinea pigs company when needed!

He’s a wonderful all-rounder — gentle, sociable, and ideal for a calm family environment. He’d do brilliantly with kind, gentle children and will mix well with other well-socialised guinea pigs.
