PICKLE HAS NOW BEEN REHOMED TO A LOVELY FAMILY IN PORTSMOUTH!
Pickle is a 1 year old Neutered DSH, black and white male cat. Pickle has very sadly come back into the rescue as his owner is having to move and she is unable to find accommodation that will allow pets. Poor Pickles mummy is very distraught at having to part with him, but she has no choice.
Pickle has come from an amazing loving home, so is a very balanced little boy, who would make a great addition to the family, his mummy has given me a list of his likes and dislikes which I will list below:
Pickle is quite fussy with his food, he eats Flexi doubly delicious meat or fish, but doesn’t like the normal felix cat food! He also has Whiskers dry food mix.
Pickle knows his name now and will come when he is called.
His favorite toys are the feathers on a stick, balls of silver foil and playing with a laser pen.
He uses the litter tray, but prefers to wait and go outside!
He has never used a cat flap, and does not wear a collar (as he hated it!).
He loves to drink from the kitchen tap!
He likes being outside, but also comes in when I am home to have a cuddle on my lap.
He gets on with other cats in the street and I will often see him hanging about ‘talking’ to the neighbour’s cat.
I think he gets car sick as the last time he went in the car he had sickness and diarrhea that evening, it may have been the stress of travelling.
He also had an incident where a dog off a lead chased him around the neighbourhood so he is scared of dogs.
He has never had much interaction with children with the exception of my niece who is 5 and chased him around the house, he was not vicious towards her but was a little scared of her. When she stopped following him, he did come and say hello to her.
He is very shy with strangers in the house until he gets to know them, but once he has met someone a few times he will interact with them and allow them to stroke him and play with him. He loves to be scratched behind the ears and under the chin.
So as you can see, Pickle must go to a home with NO DOGS!, he could most definately go with older children or a home with visiting young children and will need to be a home where he has access to the outside. Another mellow cat in the household could work as he seems to be a very social boy.
Pickle is fully vaccinated, micro chipped, neutered, up to date with all flea treatment and wormer and comes with 5 weeks free insurance. If you feel you could offer Pickles a home either call 02380 893188 or e-mail [email protected]
