Maggie and Rita are two English Lop cross Female neutered rabbits. Maggie and Rita came in to the rescue as their previous owner got herself rather overwhelmed with a large amount of rabbits. Thankfully she called for help before any of the animals started to suffer. This is supper refreshing for us here at the rescue, they are all in good condition (bar being a bit of the podgy side!!)
Maggie and Rita are mother and daughter, they are both super friendly and really easy to handle. They have been mixed with other rabbits in the passed, so if you have a single that you would like to bond up with some friends, I think this lovely pair would be suitable.
Although these rabbits are super friendly and very easy to handle, we do not recommend rabbits for pets for children. Here at All Animal Rescue we have found that children become very bored of rabbits very quickly and the parents end up taking over the care of the rabbits and they become forgotten about. We like our rabbits to go to Rabbit mad adults, that enjoy spending time with them and enriching their environment, creating play areas that they will enjoy.
