Bauer is a grey and white domestic longhair neutered male, who is 3 years old.
Bauer came in to the rescue as his owner was having problems with her daughter and she took the super brave decision to give up her animals so that she could devote her time solely to her daughters needs.
Bauer is a laid back cuddly bear of a cat, he is a little shy until he gets to know you but after that he is a delightful little shadow.
Bauer came in with his sister Bunny and he does enjoy the company of another cat, Bauer is a little bit of a pig so he does have to have his food monitored.
Bauer does like to be able to go outside, being a long haired cat this does make grooming more labour intensive, so any new owner would have to bear this in mind, at present we spend around 30 minutes a day on his grooming and he has been to a professional groomer to remove the matts he had on arrival, this cost £60 which is pretty standard for grooming.
Bauer is amazing to groom and is so accommodating.
Bauer is not suitable to go to a home with children under the age of 15, due to his previous issues, he is quite fearful of dogs so a home with no dogs is paramount, ideally he would go to a home with his sister Bunny, however he loves my laid back male cat, so would be happy to go to a new home with one other laid back cat.
