Update 12.11.23
Joe is a really sweet boy, he does not like other male cats and will chase them out of the garden, but is a real ladies man and will happily allow them in.
He is becoming more confident with new people coming in to the house and like to spend his evening “helping” his foster mum with her crafts!! lol

Joe’s house mate Spangles has been rehomed separately as she found Joes neediness really oppressive, spangles is a typical tortie and likes her own space. Spangles is now thriving in her new home and has really relaxed and come out of her shell.
However it is now clear that Joe gained all of his confidence from a fellow cat friend. So we are now looking for a different type of home, he could really do with a home with a outgoing cat to keep him company, but a tolerant cat that likes to be close to another.
Also the home type, we are looking for a quieter adult only home with no dogs or children. Joe needs time and understanding to help find himself.
Joe is a Black domestic shorthair neutered male , 10 year old cat. Joe came in to the rescue with his sister Spangles as their owners health is deteriorating and they wanted to prioritise the care of the cats.
Joe is a beautiful cat and you can tell he has had a wonderful 10 years with his previous owners, he has been examined by our vet and given a clean bill of health including his blood work! When Joe was younger he had accident which left him needing an operation on his hip. This was successful and he has had no further complications.
Joe would not cope with a hectic household, so we feel an adult only home would be good, he does not like dogs and has lived happily with another female cat (she put him in his place all the time and he takes it on the chin!!) We feel he would happily live with another laid back female cat happily. Joe needs a home where he has access to the outside world.
