Mala is a 3 year old Californian White, neutered female rabbit.
Mala came in to the rescue with her sister Janina, after finally escaping a fur and meat farm that was being closed due to deplorable conditions.
Due to being kept in a building without light for most of the day, Mala does not have the best vision and with the lack of handling at the farm she arrived terrified.
Sadly a couple of months ago Janina passed away and we have since tried to bond Mala with other rabbits, although she is happy lying next to them through the bars of the run, she will attack if the bars are removed, so we are looking for a home where she can see other rabbits, but not actually get access to them.
Due to her horrendous start, Mala panics when being handled so she is NOT suited for children and only for rabbit mad adults who take great pleasure in giving these special souls a wonderful home.
Mala is a large rabbit and requires a large hutch and run to keep her fit and healthy.
The average monthly cost of keeping Mala are as follows:
Dried food £8
Good quality eating Hay £9
Bedding £25
Fresh Veg Daily £25
Rabbit vet plan, which includes annual vaccination £9.99
Total rough monthly cost 76.99
Mala is fully vaccinated, micro chipped, neutered and up to date with all lice and worming treatment. If you feel you can offer Mala a home email [email protected]
