Meet Florence, Mary, and Diana – Our Permanent Residents
In 2017 Florence, Mary, and Diana – three beautiful Shetland cross sheep – arrived at our rescue. Their previous owner was struggling to care for them and made the difficult decision to surrender them so they could have the best possible life.
Shetland sheep are naturally very skittish, and it took a lot of time, patience, and gentle care to build trust with these three. Over the years, we’ve formed a special bond with them, and they’ve truly become part of our rescue family.
Because of their sensitive nature, and their incredible natural weeding abilities, we decided that the best place for them is right here with us. Florence, Mary, and Diana now live happily as permanent residents, spending their days grazing, exploring, and keeping our pastures beautifully maintained – all while bringing smiles to everyone who meets them.
We feel so lucky to have them with us and love watching their personalities continue to shine.
