Today our hearts are heavy as we share the news that our sweet Candy has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. 🌈
Having bravely fought age-related challenges and failing legs, we made the deeply painful but loving decision to let her go peacefully.
Candy came into the world and into our lives with such spirit. As the rescue notes, she was born into a family where she was cherished — her first owner loved her from day one. But when life took a tough turn, at 13 years old she needed special care for dental issues and arthritis in her back legs. She found refuge at All Animal Rescue and was welcomed into the loving arms of volunteer foster mum and dad Margaret and Roy, alongside her canine companion Sox.
Over the years, Candy gave so much joy. She became part of a little family, settled into her golden years with lots of treats, cuddles, and quiet comfort. Though age slowed her, love never did.
To Candy — thank you for your loyal heart, for every wag and snuggle, for the trust you showed and the comfort you gave. You made everything better simply by being you. We’re so grateful you found such a warm and caring home, and that you spent your last days surrounded by people who loved you dearly.
Rest softly, little one. May you run free now, pain-free and full of the sunshine you brought to us. You’ll be missed infinitely, but never forgotten.
