Rest in peace, beautiful Mala 🤍🐰
Mala came into our rescue after being saved from a meat farm that had been illegally producing animal fur for the fashion industry. Because of her difficult start in life, she had limited vision and carried a deep distrust of humans.
Despite this, Mala spent nearly 4 years with us, and while she never found her forever home, she was deeply loved by every member of our team. She was strong, resilient, and quietly special in her own way.
Recently, Mala had been suffering from strokes — something sadly common in her breed — but she showed incredible strength each time and kept bouncing back. Yesterday, she experienced a severe spinal stroke, and with heavy hearts, we made the decision to let her go peacefully.
We take comfort in knowing she is now free from pain and crossing the rainbow bridge, where so many friends — including her sister — will be waiting to welcome her 🌈
